Before I found these vintage 1940s art deco kitchen canisters I had no idea how to say bread crumbs in Romanian, let alone caraway seed. 
Then again, I guess I shouldn't feel bad considering the person I bought them from said they had "no idea" what the language could be. It seems funny that a person wouldn't think to do a google search as I did (and found it was Romanian within ten seconds.) Then again, maybe they just didn't care. Good thing these beauties will go to more loving hands.
